Dr MK,  the Principal and the first National Chemical Pathologist brings along his wealth of experiences working in both PNG and overseas for over 16 years. He has worked in various capacities as General Pathologist, Microbiologist,  Infectious Diseases Registrar, Emergency Registrar and General Practitioner.  He has taught as Honorary Lecturer in Pathology at Monash University in Victoria, Australia. 

 

He has worked in a number of PNG hospitals including Mendi, Kundiawa, Goroka Base and Port Moresby General hospitals over the years. He spend 12 years working overseas in  some of major Australian Hospitals including Royal Brisbane-Royal Children's-Women's Hospital Complex and Redcliff Hospitals in Brisbane, Monash Medical Centre  and Geelong Hospital in Victoria and various Rural Hospitals in Central Queensland.

 

He is a member of Clinical Biochemist of Australia, Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine and Australia College of  Tropical Medicine. His post-graduate research works have been published in a number of journals in PNG and overseas. He has also presented his work at International and National conferences.
